Mary had a major operation on her spine in Sheffield 3 weeks ago & needs a lot of TLC for a few weeks. A busy year as ever. Thanks to all who have been in touch. Mary & I attended TS Bulwark’s presentation evening in Buxton mid-March. I presented the Leslie Hallam Trophy to the winning Cadet. Bulwark 100 was a fitting tribute to the 1914 dead. The association is sponsoring a cadet from the Unit & the HMS Centaur Bell & framed picture from Upavon, Wilts. are being transported to Dudley. Area Representatives: Mick Kenyon (North West): Good to see Mike back with us. He represented the association at George Sexton’s funeral. John Packer (East Anglia): John has been in touch recently after illness & is contacting local members. Richard Evans (Wales): Richard has updated me recently. Committee Elections: Treasurer: Sec. has received a nomination. Keith Harris has volunteered his services. No nomination for Membership Secretary. 2016 Reunion Venue: I have been pricing Newport Hilton, South Wales for our 2016 bash. Outing to Cardiff on the Sunday.
